A Whole Lot Of

NOTHING!!

That is what has been going on in our house.

Sophie Clare and I have had something going on just about everyday this week. Tuesday, I worked.....Wednesday, was my night to teach Cubbies so I was getting things ready for that. Emily got to come a play for a while and Sophie Clare LOVED it.  I had a lady at the local fabric store make Sophie Clare some really cute pants and a couple of tops. I will show those pics later. I was so excited that they were ready, that we had to go right then and pick them up.  Then we stopped by my mom and dad's for a moment. When we got home, I thought I would try to get some pics of Sophie Clare. Well, that was just a joke. She would not sit still and would not really look at me.

We put the camera away and got out our new play doh toy. I  know that I love it more than she does right now. As we were playing, she decides to walk into another room.

Finally Finished

I know you all my be a little shocked when I tell you that Sophie Clare's new addition is FINALLY complete. It has seems like forever ago since we started this project........July the 4 does seem like forever.  My brother Chris was sweet to offer to help hang the siding. He got our cousin Trey to help him and it ONLY took like 3 hours.

Sophie Clare loved everyone working on her room. but she really loved POP hanging out. She loves stuff to just piddle with. So my dad gave her an unopen can of ....that's right skoal.......YUCK!!

Our Weekend

Our weekend was really good! The weather was awesome and I could see a touch of Spring peeking up through the ground!  Sophie Clare LOVES outside and can not get enough of it. She walks and walks and walks.........not always going in the direction she should. :)

 Friday night, she did not sleep good at all and woke up Saturday morning with a low temp. I gave her some Tylenol and see seem to be better. We had company early at the house because we were finishing a project!!! YAY!! I will post that tomorrow.

Braden was staying with his grandmother, so that his mom and Natalie could go and paint a canvas. They were walking outside and he headed straight to Sophie Clare's house. He LOVES to play and he gets so excited!

We were eating applesauce and he really liked it!!

My sweet friend Leslie called Friday night for plans of dinner and playtime for the kiddos.

All though Sophie Clare, was not her peppy, happy self and did not sit in her high chair but for 5 mins. We all had such a good time. I did not get to talk to Leslie much but I sure did enjoy her girls. We ended up not going to play since Sophie Clare was so tired and did not feel the best.

Sad to say, I did not take any pics.

When we got home, we got in our pj's and played with play doe. If you notice, Sophie Clare has her cookie cutter, trying to cut out shapes.

She is really good with it and does not try putting it in her mouth. She likes to tear pieces off and give them to me.

Sunday afternoon. Emily come home Gran and Pop. They rode over to play for a while.

No matter what she has on, she is beautiful.

A lady had given my mom some play clothes for the girls and that is where the overalls come from. The shirt she has on was mine and well the big green bow, it matched her outfit that she wore to church.

It's all about style at TJ Maxx.

 I usually hit TJ Maxx about once a week. Just to be honest, lately I have not found anything for myself. Wednesday was my lucky day!! I was so excited and had a hard time choosing.

They all were $9.99. I love shirts for 10 bucks!!

These 2 are my faves.

I am loving neck of this but I do wish the shirt was made out of different fabric.

I Heart TJ Maxx

Good Morning friends.

I hope you all have had a great week.

Yes it is Friday and I am talking about Wednesday. 

I had the dreaded DENTIST appointment. It was only for a cleaning but I absolutely can not stand going. Some people LOVE getting there teeth cleaned, that it just weird to me. hehe.  Yes, I have worked at OSA for 6 years. I am great beside the chair, just not in the chair.  lol  Anyways, I was cavity free......WHAAWHOO!!! I was so excited that I thought I should reward myself by doing a little shopping. 1st stop TJ MAXX.........I found several great tops and Sophie Clare a cute outfit!!  I will have to share the tops on another post. They are way to cute not to share and the prices were great!!! 

 Later that afternoon, my Aunt Janine had my little cousin Braden and they invited us to come and play. Braden LOVES to play and he is just so cute, I could eat him up.  

Yesterday we stayed at home all day. Sophie Clare and I had some major cleaning to do. Needless to say, she has a cold and did not want me to do very much. I did get a lot of laundry folded but that was about it. As most of  you know, I hold Sophie Clare when she naps and she took about a 3 hour nap. So, I did get time to watch a Hallmark movie.   

Angie and I have not been to dinner in forever. It was time we get together and play catch up. We ate at Chilli's and had a great time. I picked Sophie Clare up at my mom and dads. Then it was we were home bound.   Jamie brought Sophie Clare a TON of beads home from work and she LOVES them.

Lemon Garlic Tilapia

This is so yummy!!

You  have to try it!!

Lemon Garlic Tilapia

Ingredients

4 tilapia fillets

3 tablespoons of lemon juice

1 tablespoon butter, melted

1 clove garlic, finely chopped

1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

pepper to taste

Directions

1. Preheat oven 375 dregrees. Spray baking dish with non stick cooking spray.

2. Rinse fillets with cool water and pat dry with paper towels.

3. Place fillets in baking dish. Pour lemon juice over fillets, then drizzle butter on top. Sprinkle  garlic, pepper and parsley.

4. Bake in preheated oven until the fish is white and flakes when pulled apart with a fork.  (about 30 mins)

It is so easy!!

Picture Overload

Hello everyone in blog land!!

We have had a wonderful weekend. We had a great service yesterday morning and after church, Sophie Clare took a good nap. When she woke up, we headed to Gran and Pop's to play with Emily and Gracie.  Then it was back to chruch.

Today, we got up to a dusting of snow, I was kind of hoping for a whole lot more. One day of snow is just not enough. Jamie was off for President's Day so we headed to Trussville. We ate at the yummy Milos'. Then it was off to the thrift stores. We found tons of good stuff. I will share that with you at a later date.  Sophie Clare was so good. I know she was tired of riding in a buggy and a car seat , so when we got to Target we let her run a round for a bit.  I got her a cute Hello Kitty bubble blower. I am such a SUCKER.   

Anywho.........on to the picture overload of the snow.

Let It Snow

I can not believe it, the 1st time in years...........the weather man was right. 

It's snowed!!

Yesterday morning we got up and I really wanted to go on to the aquarium but Jamie said.........the snow in coming.  I did not see a bit of snow and I thought everyone was crazy. hehe  We ended up just going to lunch and going to a few children shops in town. As we were getting ready, it started snowing. Not those little flakes, big flakes and it was sticking. I could not believe my eyes.

Here is Sophie Clare right before we left.

Sophie Clare LOVES her new car seat. She just smiles and laughs.  The only thing about it that I do not love is, when she falls asleep her little head seems to lay over to the side.  It was fun being out and about in the snow. I am sure some people thought we were crazy.

When we got home, we had about 3 inches of snow. We all went inside and change to get ready to play.

She is really checking it out. I don't think she could figure out where her feet went.

Please ignore the fact that the siding is  not on our new addition. It  will be  her Thursday and my sweet brother will be hanging it on Saturday.

I made a snow ball and I am trying to get Sophie Clare to try it. She would not have anything to do with it.

I am so glad she loved the snow. Maybe that means she will love the sand!!

When she would fall down, she would not put her hands on it. Who could blame her , it was freezing.

I am so glad it snowed. We had lots of fun. I have a lots more pics to share, so stay tuned!!
