Just In Time

Good Evening All!

We had a busy day of working in the house. The floors were in need of MOPPING. That is not as easy as it may sound. Every time I would get into it, Sophie Clare would come in and lay down on the WET floor. She would rub her hands all over it and then want to lick it but I finally finished. I think I washed about 5 loads of clothes but none of the are folded yet.   Oh Well!!

Jamie called and said that he was going to be late. So we went for a walk and then headed to my parents.

My dad has a couple of chickens and we were so hoping that we would have some babies.

And in just the nic of time, the baby chicks have arrived.

Thinking about touching it but still not sure.

Today my sweet girl is 16 months.

We will have a post all about that a little later in the week.

It's Ladies Night

Oh What A Night

Last night me, Angie and my friend Jennifer met for a night of girl talk and mexican!!

We had tons of fun and laughed a lot!!

It was a much needed night for some full time mommy's.

I can not wait to do it again!!

Today has been so cold! We had to run to Boaz to pick up some pants I had made for Sophie Clare. As soon as we were finished with that, we headed back home to get in our warm house.

When we got back we played with our cooking toys, babies and rode around in the car for a bit.

We had such good time playing and it must have wore both of us out. I got her to sleep and got my movie started and not 10 mins into it..........I was asleep. I  know some of you are very surprised.

Most of the afternoon, we palyed with play doh and ended up getting some special visitors.

Gran, Aunt Janine and Braday, then pop and dada!

We had such a great day!!

Tomorrow is going to be much warmer!!

I am just so blessed beyond measure to be a mom!! She just brings so much joy to my life and I don't know what I would do without her. Someday's being a mom is hard.........maybe because they are fussy,  not sleeping good, or will not let you get anything done. The good days out way the bad and I would not change a thing.

Yesterday we had to get out and about. I need to pick up a few things for cubbies. We also went to the thrift store and I can not wait to show what I found!!  I was so excited!!

When we got home we played outside.

She is looking at the cat.

We had a wild night at church. Sophie Clare did not want to go to her class so she got to play outside most of the night.

When we got home, we got a bath  then it was play time!!

She is twirling  and she always cuts her eyes.

I love how she sits. Those are the sweetest feet ever!!

Today has been gloomy and rainy.

We ran and got a GRAPE CREAM SLUSH from Sonic and went by to see my grandmother.

Now, she is napping and I must get ready for my Girls Night Out!!

It's Nifty and It's Thrifty

It may be Spring but it was cold, rainy and some snow.  We have stayed in all day and I don't feel that I accompished to much. Everytime I would go to do something, Sophie Clare would want to be held, so of course that is what I did.

The dress form was 50% off and ended up only being 20.00.

I thought that was a good buy but I have an old one in the attic that you will see later.

I am so excited about Thrifty Treasures!!

                                      I hated it last week when I just could not get a post done!

 He looks so good on my shelf in the kitchen.

I also could not pass these up either for the low price of 50 cents!!

This one was my splurge....1 whole dollar at the Dollar Tree!

Wonderful

The weather was absolutely wonderful this weekend. 

It started Thursday, we headed outside and Sophie Clare loves to swing. While I finished up dinner, I had Jamie doing a little entertaining.

Friday morning we slept till .........9:30 WOW!!

When we got up and got ready and headed to town. I had been wanting to go to Payless for a while. On there commercials, they have the cutest shoes. We also hit TJ Maxx and Goodwill. After that we headed home and Sophie Clare was ready for a nap. As soon as she woke up we headed outside.   

I took this on the self timer and she would not look!

I called my aunt to let her know that we were outside playing and it was not long after that.........Aunt Janine, Natalie and Braden come to play.

He was so cute.......Callie was laying in the planter and he lays down on the porch to get right in her face.

I even brought the car out for a ride. 

My uncle was adding a little oil to Johnna car. If you were wondering why the hood was raised.

I have got to get me some polish!!

Saturday morning we were up and outside with our jammies on. Sophie Clare could not wait to get out there. Jamie was cleaning out the building so Sophie Clare spent a good bit of time sitting on the lawn mower.  We came in for a nap and then it was right back outside.

I LOVE THIS WEATHER!!

The Spring season is still here but the Spring weather is GONE!! We woke up this morning to clouds and rain plus it was cold!!!  We had dinner after church and I got a sweet surprise. Angie did not stay and eat because is is dieting and my brother was going to visit someone in the hospital. Gran and Pop had a busy afternoon so Emily got to stay at our house. As soon as she got there, she found a princess gown to put on. 

We had such a good time and can not wait to do it again!!
