Today is the day of LOVE and I spending with my sweet Sophie Clare!

Last week we worked on Valentine pictures to send to family.

The first day did not go so swell.

These were just a few of the looks I was getting! :-)

Then we went back on Wednesday morning and she was all smiles!

A Cubbie Valentine

Hey hey!

It is Monday and guess what????????

Sophie Clare is walking just about all day long! YAY!! I love her being little and I love carrying her around. But let me just say a 30 pound baby gets heavy and my neck starts hurting. I will carry her till her legs drag the ground though!

Wednesday night we started our Valentine celebration at church. Our bible verse was

......love one another. 1 John 3:11

Sophie Clare and I made Valentines for her class and mine. We even used our Bible verse on them as it was fitting.

I cut them out a heart and wrote on them with a white crayon. If you color them with "water colors" it reveals a secret message!

How cool is this??

I love it!

Sophie Clare and I also made cookies for them. We let them decorate them with there very own icing and sprinkles.

Then it was time for SC to hand out the Valentine's

We had a super fun night and we are going to continue to celebrate God's love Wednesday night!

We have a very special morning planned and I can't wait to give Sophie Clare her Valentine tomorrow!

A Fun Saturday With The Girls

Burrr it is cold outside on this sun shining Sunday afternoon.

Yesterday, Aunt Angie dropped the girls of at my mom and she stopped by our house to visit Sophie Clare. She brought her a get well/Valentine gift.

It was a cute cute t shirt with an S on the front of it.

Thank you Aunt Annie!!

When Angie left it was off to my moms. Sophie Clare was still not walking and I was ready to see how she would do around the girls. Emily pushed her in the baby stroller and took good care of her. Sophie Clare finally did some duck walking and scooting but that's it. They played, made Valentines, looked at old pictures and ate pizza. We also went to visit our grandmother for a bit. Then is was time to play at our house. Sophie Clare enjoyed painting Gracie's toes while Em watches a little Tigger and Pooh.

Emily had gotten something on her jeans and needed something to wear. She put on this little outfit that was mine. As we were digging in the old pictures, I ran across when I wore this outfit.

I think it is tooo cute!

We had a great day with the girls! I cooked dinner and we just relaxed around the house last night. Sophie Clare finally took her first steps about 8:30. She ran and jumped all over the place. I was so excited to see her run! I believe this was just as exciting as when she took her very first steps. haha When we got up this morning she did not want to walk again. Finally I got her to and then she got her foot under the chair and hurt it. Now we are back to not walking again and we can't put a sock on her foot. I just shake my head and smile.

This to shall pass.

Day 4 & 5.....Life Happens

This week has been one crazy week!

Ear infection, starting a work out program, falling at the library, Sophie Clare not walking, doctor, x rays.........................I am ready for a "normal" week. :-)

Anyways, day 4 and 5 work outs did not go as planned. I did not get to do my 20 min cardio because of having to hold Sophie Clare so much and being at the doctor office. Although, I still did the other work outs.

I have not had a chance to look for an ab work out but I will this week. I am looking forward to tomorrow getting my work out on! I also have not really changed any of eating habits and they are not great. I really could eat from the time I wake up till I go to bed. My goal this week is to snack on healthier things! Wish me luck! I will need it.

A Sad Ending To Story Time

Hey ya'll! It has been a very unexpected day!

Let me start from the beginning.........

Yesterday was story time and Sophie Clare was super excited! We got ready early to go by Goodwill to see if we could find anyhing great and wonderful! We did not find that much, it is always hit or miss but I never give up! ;-) This is her being excited before we went into the library. I do believe she bounced all the way in the childrens area. :-)

They read a cute book about sharing which you can never read to many of those. There were a ton of kids there yesterday. I do believe Ms. Tabby said there were 31. They got busy coloring and doing glitter on there color sheets.

We checked out Yogi Bear (the cartoon) Veggie Tails and got a couple of cute Valentine books to read. She was just has happy as she could be. As we were walking out of the library, Sophie Clare fell flat on her belly. I ended up tripping over her leg but not falling. I got her up and she was screaming and crying. Sophie Clare is very tough. She usually falls and dust herself off. I can always tel if something really hurts or not with her. Anyways, I could not calm her down. We ended up standing in there parking lot a while and then sitting in the car for a bit. She did not want to get in her car seat. I would have loved to be able to hold her all the way home. She was so pitiful. This is how she rode most of the way home. She did not want anything to touch her sweet knees. :-(

When we got home, she had calm down a lot. I started getting her out of the car and she would not walk. All afternoon was like this. We stayed on the couch all afternoon. We played with the camera as you can see and she took a couple of cat naps. I had plans to go eat with my sis-n-law so I took Sophie Clare to my moms early to get my nails done. I thought she would enjoy going down there and playing. Well I was wrong, she still did not walk and was ready to come home. I ended up going on to meet Angie. Sophie Clare was fine and spent some time with her daddy. Still NO walking!! I debated on carrying her to the ER but She was not crying with pain, her knee was not swollen so I decided to see how she was this morning.

Morning time came and we had plans to go to a Valentine party. She first said she wanted to go and that her knees felt better. When I told her lets get up, she could not walk. So it was off to the dr.

Here she is waiting on the dr. She was a very good pt. The dr said she had good range of motion but wanted to do x rays to rule out anything. We headed right over and that was NO FUN AT ALL!! She cried the entire time that we did the x rays and ended up throwing up. I felt so sorry for her. I know it was scary!

We got home took a bath and she napped all afternoon. We got the results of the x rays and they were good. Praise the Lord!! The dr seem to think that she was afraid that is was going to hurt like it did yesterday and that it should get better in a day or 2.

Since the poor baby just wants to sit, we went to get a couple of movies and some ice cream.

She looks pretty pleased!

Here we are at about 9:00 pm and she is in the best mood. She still has not walked but she is using her knees more and more. I am anxious to see how she is tomorrow with Emily and Gracie. I do believe she will be much better.

Even though it was a sad day yesterday and today was a little rough...........All in all we are blessed with a happy ending!!

Anyways, I hope you all have a fabulous weekend. We have nothing planned except to spend some quality time with the girls!

Day 3......Jello Arms

Here I am on Day 3 and really enjoying my work outs.

Today was arms and back.

Let me just say my arms at the end felt like they were going to fall off. So far I feel like everything is getting a great work out except for my abs. So this weekend I am going to research an ab work out to add in. My problem area is the lower part and that seems to be the hardest to work. If you have any suggestions, let me know!!

Next week, I will not share everyday but this is really helping my stay focused!

You've Got Mail

Happy Hump Day! I am so thankful that Sophie Clare is feeling tons better! It is so odd to me that she had an ear infection and only hurt that one night. Antibiotics do not work that fast. Oh well either way I am thanking God she is better! It just breaks my heart when she is not her happy full of life self. :-)

It is so fun for Sophie Clare to get something in the mail. Yesterday was a big day for her. She received a sweet thank you card from Luke for his birthday present and got a big box of goodies Aunt Mary and Cousin Russ and his family!

I wanted to capture her being excited to open it and I kept having to tell her to wait.......let me get my camera. Haha This is her "would you hurry up mommy" face. hehe

Aunt Mary got her some cute diva Valentine shades.

Day 2....My Weak Arms

Here I am at day 2 and checking it off my list! YAY!! I did my walking outside today and it was so pretty! I came back in and worked my arms like never before. OUCH! My arms are the weakest part on my body and I looked crazy trying to do push ups. lol I know that it will get better though. I am already looking forward to seeing and feeling the progress. Yes I know that it is only day 2 but I am postive polly that this is going to work for me!! :-)

Feeling Better

Good morning!

I am happy to say that Sophie Clare is feeling much better! She had a great night! She fell asleep at 7:30 and woke up this morning at 8:30!

When she woke up, she said

I feel better.......not sick no more.

We have nothing planned but play at home and rest.

Oh and work out! ;-) By the way, my thighs are sore!

That is a good thing!

Day 1 Work Out

I have decided to take you on my work out journey. I really want this to be something that I do daily. It takes 30 days to create a habit so.........Here it goes. haha

Sophie Clare had a rough night and we ended up at the dr this morning with an ear infection. I thought to myself on the way home.....

How am I going to do this today??

I knew I had to start today so after I got her to sleep and I got my work out on. lol

Where did I walk??

In my house!

A lot of you know that my house is not huge but I made it work! I really got my heart rate up walking for 20 mins. I even jogged a little. I will not lie, I looked at the clock about 2 mins in and thought OH NO I have 18 more mins. I kept going and pushed through.

The squats.......well my thighs were burning!

The lunges and ab work out..........burning!

That is a good thing!

How did I feel at the end of the workout??

Tired but felt like I was doing some good!

Getting in Shape

Good afternoon! I hope you all are having a great weekend. We are but I am ready for the week to begin. We have lots of fun activities planned for the week. ;-)

Now for the real reason I am blogging today.

Getting In Shape

I will be honest, I have never had a issue till the age of 33. Who knew what you ate would start catching up with you?? I have never had to work out, now I was not rock hard with abs or anything, but I was happy. I am still not big but "the weight" I have gained is not spreading equally. It all wants to gather in the hip area or the tummy area. YUCK this is know fun. haha I know that I want to start a work out program and stick with it. The gym is not what I want to commit to right now. So I have been researching something I can do at home.

WHAT WORKS???

I guess I will not know till I try.

I ran across this on PINTEREST and it seems pretty good.

My Sweet Bathing Beauty

Hi-Ya!

I am sure you are glad it is the weekend!

We have had a great week and beautiful weather for the most part. I have been working on going through Sophie Clare's clothes which is a pretty big job. We have played outside, napped, went to the mall, lunch with Andrea plus kiddos, played with Braden, church, and enjoyed my neices! I say that is a pretty good week.

I just wanted to share with you a few pics of my sweet Sophie Clare. She is such a doll baby and is getting so big. This girl is all about playing in the tub. She uses shaving cream, writes, playes in bubbles, and washes her baby.

I got a few cute pics the other night with her playing and not paying me much attention! :-)

What do we have planned tomorrow??

Not real sure but maybe we will come up with something fun! :-)

Happy 1st Day Of February

Today is the first day of February as you know.

It has rained ALL DAY.

I made the mistake of asking Sophie Clare if she wanted to go to the mall.

I did not realize that it was raining at the time. She was not backing down and was looking forward to it. So, we got out in the rain............good thing, I needed a new pair of tennis shoes and got them! YAY!

I also got SC a couple of cute t-shirts at the Children's Place and a super cute necklace and ring at the Body Shop. When we got home we snuggled in for a nap and got our things ready for church. She has a cough and a runny nose so she is acting like she does not fell well at all.. We got home to a wheezing child so we did a breathing treatment. She sounds much much better.

Looking Like Spring

Today is the last day of January. It looks and feels like Spring around here. We are picking daffodils and enjoying the sweet smell of our Winter honeysuckle bush. We are playing outside, swinging and going for walks. I am sure that there is going to be more cold weather but it is nice to get out of the house for a change.

I wish that you could smell this Winter Honeysuckle, it smells so wonderful.

Chicken Taco Soup

I love finding easy and quick recipes.

All Recipes is one of my favorite places to search. Saturday I came across this yummy soup. I tried it today and I think it was fabulous! Jamie enjoyed 2 bowls and is taking it for lunch tomorrow. Sophie Clare ate some but was not real hungry.

CHICKEN TACO SOUP

Ingredients

1 onion, chopped
1 (16 ounce) can chili beans
1 (15 ounce) can black beans
1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer (you could add water instead)
2 (10 ounce) cans diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning
3 whole skinless, boneless chicken breasts
shredded Cheddar cheese (optional) sour cream (optional) crushed tortilla chips (optional)

Directions

Place the onion, chili beans, black beans, corn, tomato sauce, beer, and diced tomatoes in a slow cooker. Add taco seasoning, and stir to blend.
Lay chicken breasts on top of the mixture, pressing down slightly until just covered by the other ingredients.
Set slow cooker for low heat, cover, and cook for 5 hours.

Remove chicken breasts from the soup, and allow to cool long enough to be handled. Stir the shredded chicken back into the soup, and continue cooking for 2 hours.
Serve topped with shredded Cheddar cheese, a dollop of sour cream, and crushed tortilla chips, if desired.

A Day In Pajama's

Tuesday was a very special day that we had been looking forward to. It was PAJAMA DAY at the library. Story time was going to be filled with lots of little boys and girls running around in there PJ'S. They were going to read Llama Llama Red Pajama's and Llama Llama Misses Mama. Sophie Clare could not believe she was getting to wear her pj's and was very excited about it.

She was ready for anything in her cute pj's and sunglasses.

Just hanging out and waiting on her friends to get there.

When it comes to singing in public, Sophie Clare usually just hangs back and watches. She really does not pay all that close to the story, she is more about people watching. ;-)

After the music and the story, they had the cutest surprise ever.

An Alpaca

It was so cute drinking for a bottle. Sophie Clare took that in closely.

After all everyone got to touch it, we went over to work on the craft. You could go back 1 at a time to have your picture made with "Sandy"

Sophie Clare was super excited to get some one on one time with the Alpaca. Although she was a little bit nervous. You can tell that by the look on her sweet face.

She is 4 months old and super soft. Sophie Clare's sweet Aunt Mary got her an Alpaca hat for the Winter. We love it!! Also the hat that she wore the most when she was small was made from Alpaca.

We went to eat some lunch in our pj's and I ask SC to let me take a pic.

Little Fashionista

It is 11:25 and everyone is in bed. I am staying up for a quick blog post.

I just had to share Sophie Clare's unique fashion wear for last night. My little fashionista received a dress up trunk for Christmas. She does not play with it a ton because she is afraid she will have to take her "t-shirt" off. haha I have tried showing her that she can wear it over her clothes but...........anyways. ;-)

She has a mind of her own and can wear anything and look good!

She put 2 skirts on.

1 for the top and 1 for the bottom.

This girl is styling and super cute! Just look at those hands on her hips as she walks the runway.

Sometimes when she dresses up, I pretend to tell all about who and what she is wearing.

I love her soooo much!!

She looks like such a big girl!

She is so much fun and full of personality!

A Dreamland Lunch

Well I said to be con't but all I had left was really lunch to blog about. I did my last blog through the course of a couple of hours. The only time that I can sit down and not be interupted is 11 o'clock at night. I know I am crazy during the day and much crazier at night. ha Jamie usually reads my blog the next day at work and corrects anything he finds wrong. ha I love being interupted by Sophie Clare and would not change it. I am just thankful you all con't to read about us! :-)

After all of our fun at the McWane Center, how could we pass up DREAMLAND???? We were starving and being the bread lover that I am, I could not wait for that fresh bread and sauce. I ate 1 piece and had to take SC to the restroom. When I got back there was only 1 piece of bread left. hehe I do belive that Jamie was hungry. That was ok, they brought us plenty more bread.

The ribs were so delish!

While Jamie was paying and getting me sauce to take home, Sophie Clare and I walked outside.

The McWane Center

It was a wonderful weekend and fully packed! Friday Andrea and I were texting back and forth. She was trying to decide between going to the McWane Center or the Aquarium. The McWane Center won and she invited us to tag along. I was super excited! When we got there, it did not take us long to see that we were going to have soooo much fun. I spotted the bed of nails and could not wait to jump on. Sophie Clare was a little unsure. I showerd her it was ok!

Then daddy showed her it was ok but she was not going to lay on it.

She enjoyed mashing the button though.

We tried seeing how tall she was but she was not still enough. I stepped on and it said I was 5'10 but I had boots on.

Jamie was having just as much fun as the little ones.

Sophie Clare really enjoyed watching her daddy.

I was pointing the vacumn at her and she thought it was so funny.

Celebrating Luke's Birthday

This past weekend we met Luke and April at the bouncy place to celebrate Luke's 3rd birthday! They had tons of fun sliding, climbing and jumping.

Sophie Clare had so much static in her hair that I had to pull it up. Luke wanted Sophie Clare to sit beside him..................

Of course a photo op but Sophie Clare would not look at the camera as usual.

April took the next 2 pics.

At mommy and me time they provide some yummy popcorn and juice.

It smells so good!

After the bouncy place, we all worked up an appetite for Pasquale's.

They have the cheapest pizza and salad in town but it is so good.

April also brought cupcakes for the birthday celebration. Sophie Clare could not wait to get her hands on those.

We had a blast and enjoyed celebrating Luke's 3rd Birthday!

We look forward to celebrating many more!

Crayola Color Maker

My parents got Sophie Clare the Crayola Color Maker for Christmas. It did not take us long to get hooked on this machine. We have made colors since Christmas Eve. There has been been maybe 4 days that we have not made colors once or twice a day. I love it just as much as she does. It is so much fun to mix the colors and see how they will turn out.

First take the paper off the old crayons and break them into pieces.

Lay them in the tray how you want the colors to flow.

Turn the dial to turn the light on.

Let the crayons heat up......................

Then poor.

Like I said we have made tons. It comes with 2 adapters to make it eaiser for coloring.

They are so much fun to make and to color with.

I hope you all are having a great weekend. Althoug it has rained here, it has been great. We went to the Mcwain Center today with great friends, got to see my 2 sweet neices and my grandmother is coming home tomorrow!

My January Mantel

Good Evening to all!

We have had a day filled with playing, seeing my grandmother and getting my hair cut. Yesterday we celebrated Lukes birthday at the bouncy place and had lunch. We had a great time and I will share that a little later.

I thought I would share my mantel with you. My brother gave me this antique fan one year for my birthday. I just love it but was not using it. I had put it in the attic for a while. I started looking for it the end of Summer and we could not find it anywhere. I knew it was up there but it is like a needle in a hay stack up there. When were putting up our Christmas, Jamie looked for it......Finally, he found it. I was so excited and I could not wait to decorate with it.

I love my vintage cameras!

The frame with Sophie Clare in it is plain jane.

I am going to have my mom paint a Bible verse on it.

I probably will leave it like this for a while.

I really don't decorate for Valentine's day.

What To Blog About

Hey, Hey!

Not a lot going on these days. We stayed around the house on Saturday so that Jamie could work on his building. Sophie Clare was beyond excited to be outside. She stayed outside just about all day! Sunday we went to church, ate lunch, funeral home, nap and church. Monday back to the funeral home and then we got to spend some time with Emily and Gracie. We were very excited to see them. Seems like it had been forever. We had tons of fun as usual.

See nothing to exciting around here.........I will try to do something a little more interesting next post! :-)

2 Weeks of Story Time

Story time at the library has started back up. They have made lots of changes in the childrens department and added tons of cute stuff. Last week they fed the fish, talked about birds, played follow the leader and made a cute craft.

After story time, we went to the mall to hang for a bit. Then it was cut short. The kids were tired and it showed. haha

This week, they talked about cooking breakfast for mommy. For those of you that know that I am a huge breakfast girl, that would make this mommy so happy! :)

Luke and Lila were there. Lila is growing like a little weed and is just a doll baby!!

For there craft, they got to decorate a cookie. Sophie Clare did not waist any time. She sat down and began to ice her cookie.

It was sweet Madi Claire's 2nd birthday.

Elefun = No Fun

Good afternoon blogland!

It has been raining since Saturday and I am so ready to see the SUN SHINE! Although staying in, I am getting some things done on my to-do list. Monday night..........How about our TIDE? A fabulous day, I will say! :-)

Anyways........................

Sophie Clare got Elefun for Christmas. I was so excited about and just knew she would love it! We put it all together, got the batteries in, turned it on.........Yep thats about it. The butterflies would not fly out. It was like the fan did not blow strong enough. So finally Tuesday, we took it back to swap it. We got home again hoping we would actually get to play. I opened it up finding that someone had already put it together and left there screw driver in the box. I knew then, it was not going to work. Sophie Clare still wanted me to try, so I did. I Want To Wear.........

I love everything there is about having a little girl! Sophie Clare is everything I have always prayed for! I love spending all my time with her and so thankful that I am able to! One of my favorite things to do, is dress her up. I can remember when she was much smaller, even at home she was dressed as cute as could be. Now that she is getting a little older, becoming a bit more independent and getting a bigger personality..................She is wanting to have a little more say about what she wears. She is 3, why does she care?? haha She LOVES her t-shirt. The minute we walk in the door, she is taking her clothes off and getting into her t-shirt. When we start to get ready to go somewhere, she ask "mommy, what I wear"? I will get about 3 outfits out and let her choose. I am thankful she does not give me a hard time.

I have bigger clothes packed away and from time to time, I go through them to see if there is anything she can wear. We ran across a pair of jeans. I have nothing against them and they are cute but she will be in jeans soon enough. haha She wore them around the house a couple of times but then did not care anything about them. Sunday afternoon, she got it in her mind that she needed her jeans. I dug them out and she wore them all afternoon. We started to get ready for church and she wanted to wear her jeans. I had a hard time but compromised with a smocked top and pink shoes. I think she looked adorable but a little to grown-e.

Do you have those "GO TO" pieces in your closet??

A favorite dress, a awesome top, your best fitting jeans, your most comfy shoes or just that outfit that makes you feel fabulous????

I sure do.

Last year, I do believe that I wore leggings or skinny jeans with my black boots all the time.

This year it is these new brown boots that are super comfy.

I can carry Sophie Clare, get in and out of the car, walk all day .......Guess what?? My feet still don't hurt !! I am a scarf wearing mama this year as well. I LOVE my orange scarf so much that Angie got that I had to have a couple more. I had a cream from last year and added a pink and green to my collection. ;-)

I also wanted to share with you my earrings that I made for $1.00. Yes, you read that right. $1.00. We went to Hobby Lobby the other night and they had some jewels 50% off of 1.99. I thought the angel wings would make super cute earrings.

Gap at our local mall is going out of business. I don't buy tons of stuff there but I do get SC's socks and my jeans. I always love to go in and see what they have. So I am sad that they are going out. Although we did go in there the other night and I got the cutest crop white pants for Spring for $3.97. Regular price was $49.00. A steal of a deal if I do say so myself.

Chicken and Dumplings

What's for dinner at our house??

Tonight it is Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings.

My sister-n-law got this recipe from Pinterest and said it was super yummy! I just had to try it. I have not tried to make them in a few years. I tried my hand at it one night with Jamie and a close friend. Well Jamie was like um they are ok.........my friend well did not eat them at all and neither did I. haha. So when I made these and they turned out great, I was very excited! Although I have come a long way in my cooking. :-)

Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings

Ingredients:

1lb of Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts (3-5)

2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter

2 cans (10.5oz) Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup

1 can (14oz) Chicken Broth

1 medium White Onion, diced

4 Large Flaky Refrigerator Biscuits

Directions:

Place chicken in crock pot and top with butter. Add cream of chicken soup, chicken broth and diced onions. Cook on High for 4-6 hours.

Remove chicken from crock pot and use a fork to shred. Return chicken to the crock pot. Cut each uncooked biscuit into 9 pieces and stir into the chicken mixture. Continue to cook on High for 30 minutes. Serve hot.
Makes about 6-8 servings

Our Little Carpenter

Sophie Clare loves to work on anything. She loves to help her daddy and pop work. She has her on little tool box and everything. When her daddy gets his shop finished, she is going to get her litttle area to work in. I am in the "slow" process of trying to de-clutter and clean out corners. I have this big rubbermaid tote sitting in the kitchen and it had some wood to take to the building in it. Sophie Clare spotted it and went to work. She got her level, pencil, ruler and went to marking her lines. She stood there forever and just worked her little heart out. It was so cute. She did it just like her daddy does.

Shaving Like Daddy

Sophie Clare loves playing with shaving cream. Santa thought she would just love this shaving set from Wal-Mart. :-) It has a little boy on the can but oh well little girls need to shave there legs for pretend right?? At least that is what I thought she might do with it but no no..............she got it out and wanted some in her hand. I did what she asked and she began to rub it on her face. I said Sophie Clare what are you doing?? She gave me a big ole smile and said, I shave like daddy.

It was soo cute and she even held her mouth like he does!

I love her to pieces!

DIY T-Shirt Scarf

I shared on my status on fb that I made a t-shirt scarf. I of course found the idea on Pinterest.

Thursday morning when I woke up, I noticed that Jamie had put a gray t-shirt in the garbage. I got it and looked it over.

He had gotten something on the sleeve but the belly part was perfect.

I thought to myself, T-SHIRT SCARF.

I carried it down to my moms and watched this at VIDEO at Hello Giggles. I went to cutting and in no time at all I had the cutest scarf for free! I totally upcycled the Throw Away T.

When you watch the video, you will see that they use leather around the part of the t-shirt that you gather. I just cut a piece of the t-shirt and used fabric glue. I had the flower and thought it added a great touch.

My second t-shirt scarf, I bought the T at the local thrift store for 99 cents. I already had the flower from Hobby Lobby.

Happy New Year

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

We celebrated very low key this year. Just the 3 of us went to Trussville to eat at Cajun Steamer and get in a little Target time. Cajun Steamer was oh so yummy! We also hit Old Navy but that was it considering it was New Year's Eve. We headed home and decided last min to go visit with Michelle and her sweet family for a bit. Then we headed home for hair washing and bed. Sophie Clare probably would have stayed up if we had not had to get up and go to church the next morning. She is such a night owl. After I got her to bed, we watched the ball drop and ate some popcorn. I know, WILD and CRAZY. I laid on the couch after that and fell asleep. haha I do believe this is the first New Year that I misssed. I woke about about 12:30 and ask Jamie was he still awake.........he was. I don't really feel like I missed anything. As long and I get to watch the NEW YORK BALL DROP, I am good. I jumped in bed with SC and snoozed like a baby! :-)

This morning we got up as usual and got ready for church. Our crowd was reawlly off. Not sure where everyone was but maybe next week, ,things will be back to normal. After church, me and Sophie Clare went to my parents and enjoyed some YUMMY black eyed peas, turnip green, ,corn bread and fried potatos. Where was Jamie?? Let's just say he does not like "that" kind of food so he ate here at home. Then later, my mom and I went to see my grandmother at the hospital. She has been really sick but it getting better slowly!

Anyways, we got home and had a fun photo session.

Christmas Pictures

I do believe that this year was the hardest year ever to get a Christmas picture. This girl just did not want to perform for us this year. We first tried over at The Friendly Farm first. They have a big red barn and I thought it would be perfect. The cows were eating and that was way more interesting than me taking pics.

I told her to get excited and look alive........

Then we stopped by my cousins house in front of there pretty white fence.

Playing on the fence was tons of fun.

When we got home, Jamie thought I should try to get her pic in front of the holly bush. Great idea but she wanted the cat in the pic. It was very cute but not the look I was going for. :-)

Late one afternoon, I decided to give it a try by myself. We went to this old house just up the road. She did fabulous. We played Peek-a Boo with the baby and that worked like magic. :-)

Santa Came To Our House

Sophie Clare was completely wore out from not having a nap on Christmas Eve. Convincing her to go to bed early because Santa was coming was easier than I thought. We prepared him a plate of goodies and some milk. I asked her where she thought we should leave it and she wanted to leave it right in front of the tree. We also left him a key at the door to get in. ;-)

We had to wake Sophie Clare up early Sunday morning because we had to get ready for church as well. When I was waking her up, she was not moving.....................But when I said SANTA came to your house. Her little eyes opened and she smiled. I carried her down the hall and she gave me the biggest grin and hug. I tried to get her to walk but I am not sure she knew what to expect.

She was amazed by her baby bed and high chair.

She picked up her coloring book and said AWWW

We let her grab which present she wanted first and she opened the baby.

She was in love at first sight!

Her stocking is not quite big enough to hold all the stocking stuffers so Santa put some in the sleigh.

I hate this picture has this huge shadow on it but she LOVED the choo choo train whistle.

Then it was time for a break, she wanted to watch a little Yogi.

We took that time to get ready for church.

Finally we are ready and she decides to open another gift.

Sophie Clare is all about tracing so Santa thought she might like the scribble by Leap Frog. She liked it so much, that she wanted to take it to church. It was hard making her understand that she could not take it but we finally got out the door.

Are all her gifts open yet???

No, of course not. This girl likes to take her time and that is ok with us.

After church we went to Jamie's family and spent the afternoon. Finally when we got home, Sophie Clare wanted to change into the pj's that Jamie's granny got her. We asked her a couple of times did she want to open anymore gifts and she was just not interested. Then she decides to open another...........

Gingerbread House and My Parent's

Is it Thursday already?? This week has flown by and I am not sure why. We have not done a thing. Sophie Clare ran a fever off and on all day on Tuesday. She mostly slept or laid in my arms. She even threw up a couple of times. Wednesday morning she seem much much better, only a little cough. Today, well she seems better although not her normal happy energectic self. If she is still this way tomorrow, we may head to the dr.

Anyways onto the making of a gingerbread house.......................On the box they are just so cute and look soooo easy. Let me just tell you, they are not easy. We mixxed up the icing and tried to build the house but it kept falling. Sophie Clare was so ready to decorate it, I just iced a piece of the house so that she would be content.

Finally, I had a fabulous idea to HOT GLUE the house together. It worked like a charm. Then I iced it an Sophie Clare had a blast decorating it. As you can see, she picked some of the candies of to eat. :0)

Saturday Christmas Eve, we met at my moms for lunch. The lunch was fabulous and my favorite it the dressing. She makes it just like my grandmother! After we ate, the girls opened there gifts. Emily and Gracie told me what they wanted so that made my shopping super easy. The Happy Napper was a huge hit! Sophie Clare loves loved her birthday cake that Aunt Annie and Uncle Chris got her. The girls got matching outfits which I did not get a pic of but u will see soon enough.

It was a trying day for SC because she did not get to nap but all in all we had a wonderful time together!

Christmas At The Falls

I hope you all had a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS! We did but I am glad it is over. I am ready for "normal" living. I took all my Christmas decor down yesterday so now all I like is catching up on blogging about Christmas. haha My goal is to get it all in this week so I can satrt fresh in Jan.

Last Friday the girls spent the day with my parents. Jamie and I had planned on sqeezing in one more Christmas fun activity in. It was the last night of Lights at the Falls. Mom decided she wanted to go with us. My brother my parents to bring the girls coat and gloves. We got there a little early and got our tickets. It is a good thing. I think everyone decided to come.

Sophie Clare was beyond excited about riding the choo choo train.

They had 2 trains running so the wait was not to bad and the 3 girls were awesome!

This pic cracks me up. Jamie was on camera duty and takes a pic of us on the train. Gracie was not quite ready, Sc is fixxing her hat and Emily has her eyes closed.

I am sure all of you have it all planned out what your little one will be wearing in the morning as they open all there gifts from Santa. Well so did I until she got a NEW favorite t-shirt from Natalie. Haha She put it on as soon as she opened it and when she got out of the bath, she wanted to wear it to bed. Well it is super cute and I could not tell her no. Thanks Nat Nat!

We always read it at my moms but we still sit and read to SC. I am very thankful that we will be celebrating Jesus' birthday tomorrow. We are so blessed and have so much to be thankful for!

Santa's Village

Hey bloggers and readers!

Christmas is officially happing! The malls and roads are busy as can be! Jamie seems to save all his vaction time for the end of the year. He is on vaction till the first of the year. Sophie Clare loves having him at home but our routine is so not the same! :-)

Last night we headed to Hunstville for our 3rd year of Santa's Village. Every year gets better and better. Sophie Clare seem to really get into it this year. Considering she loves Santa so much this year, we told her we were going to see where Santa lived.

We have never waited in line to Santa at " Santa's Village" but we did this year, just because I knew as soon as we left she would ask to see him.

So hear we are waiting to see Santa!

We don't have a picture of it snowing but while standing in line, it snowed! I carried SC over and let it snow right on top of her. She loved catching it in her hand.

This only thing that was different from last year was the Christmas tree farm...........They did not have real trees! Which made me a little disappointed. It is so magical with the snow, workshop, making cooking ect.

Santa asked her what she wanted for Christmas and she never says a word. I really think she would sit in his lap for hours. haha

After we got to visit with Santa, we were able to go up and see Santa's bedroom. It was so pretty and it was so much fun to show Sophie Clare where Santa went night night.

The train was probably her favorite. She did not get why we could not just keep standing there! There were a few children that did not mid sharing the space.

She really enjoyed the Icicle Maze. She had to do this more than once.

We even got to listen to Mrs Clause read a Christmas story. I really wanted SC to get her pic made with her but she was not so sure about her.

We also loved seeing the reindeer and seeing Frosty and his friends. Sophie Clare ended up getting tired and not decorating her a cookie but thats ok. We decorated a gingerbread house which I will share soon.

Can you believe that Christmas is Sunday??

Where did the month of December go??

Considering we only have a few days left of Christmas fun left, we are cramming as much Christmas fun in as we can! I traced off some pics from the computer on card stock so that the glue and glitter would hold up on the paper. She really had a good time. Also if you don't have glitter or you run out.........Sprinkles work just as well.

When we got tired of the sprinkles and glue, she just colored her pics with color pencils.

Here are just a few of our Christmas crafts.

It sure has been fun this Christmas! Sophie Clare has enjoyed all aspects of Christmas. From learning about Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, what the Angel said to the Sheppard's "be not afraid", Christmas songs, the lights and Santa. I hate to see it all end for her. Tonight we road to Albertville. on Frazier Rd. They have lights that are synchronized to music and it was really good!! If you are in the area, you should check it out.

Tomorrow, we are making a Gingerbread House.

Live Nativity

Last night we went with my parents to FisherCreek Baptist Church. It was the last night of the Live Nativity. I only remember going to one other Live Nativity and all you did was drive by. Not this one, it was set just like a play and had several scenes. You walked down this walk way into the woods by a creek .......the setting was great!

Christmas Shopping & River Country

Yesterday afternoon, I made it my goal to finish up our Christmas shopping. I wanted to this next week to be fun and not stressful. We started out and Miss Sophie Clare was more than ready.

We had been shopping for a while and decided to break at Jefferson's for dinner. It was so good. I have been craving them for a while. At the end downtown they have a huge tree with lots of lights. Sophie Clare loved it. We sat there for a while so that she could enjoy the lights.

We hit the mall to enjoy the hustle and bustle of Christmas. It was still early when we finished so we went to River Country. You drive through it and it has lots of lights and blow ups. We really enjoyed it.

When we got home and got baths, Jamie and Sophie Clare snuggled in the floor.

We had a great time and are looking forward to this weeks plans.

Good afternoon readers. The weather is starting to feel a little more like Christmas! Friday night my moms side of the family got together for Christmas. Why so early? Well Ben and Natalie has to work and Chris and Angie go to her moms for Chistmas. So this was just a great time for everyone to get together! We had tons of great food and tons of fun.

It is finally the weekend and it has seem to be a long week to me. This is a totally random post but I thought I would share. My camera has been acting up for a while. I will take tons of pics and half of them are blurry. I have NO CLUE WHY! It is driving me nuts. My pastor is a very wise man not only about the LORD but about cameras. :) He told me a couple of things to try so we were playing with my camera when we got home from church Wednesday night.

Bounce, Bounce and Story Time

Can you believe that it is just 10 days till Christmas??

Where did the month go?? I am not tired of my Christmas decor yet and definitely not tired of Sophie Clare's Christmas clothes. The month has just to seem to slip away from us with tons more that I want to do. Believe me we are going to try and squeeze it in.

On to our week....................................................................................

Wednesday is MOMMY & ME at the local bouncy place. Sophie Clare had been wanting to so we invited sweet Luke to go. It was wonderful! It was not crowded at all and for a while there was not any big children. They have several bouncy and then have 2 other areas with tons of stuff to do.

Here is the next room, it had a huge swing/play set and they loved it.

We had lots of fun and glad April, Luke and Lila were able to join us!

Now for today................My friend Andrea and her sweet kiddos?????? Well, we have not saw them in a MONTH!! The library is closed this month so they held a special tory time at the mall. Our plan was to meet but poor sweet Max woke up with PINK EYE! Bless his sweet heart. We hope he feels better soon! Sophie Clare and I ended up going on, mainly because she wants to see Santa and I needed to finish my Christmas shopping. We had a good time and got to see a few of our story time "friends".

First Trip To The Dentist

Happy Hump Day!

As you know Sophie Clare turned 3 a couple of weeks ago. I knew that the dentist was in our near future, and I knew I wanted a "kid" friendly place. There are not a lot to choose from in our area so I chose one that a friend uses and LOVES. It is about 45 Min's away, but has lots to do after the dentist! :-) You know like Target, TJ MAXX, Michael's.........hehe

I went ahead and made the appointment about a month ago. We talked about it a lot. We watched Caillou going to the Dr and dentist. We watched The Bernstein Bears go to the dentist. We played dentist and even drilled on her teeth. We got there and the waiting room is super cute with a little outdoor jungle gym. Very kid friendly. We were in the restroom when they called us back so when we came out they were ready for us. Sophie Clare was not ready at all. She latched on and was not letting go. The hygienist does not give you anytime to think...........She told me it would take about 3 min to do what she needed. So, Sophie Clare sat in my lap and laid her head down in the hygienist lap. I held her hands because she wanted to cover her face. She cried but it was not a kicking and fighting cry...........it was just a scared cry. I even shed a tear. I just felt sorry for. The Dr what super sweet and said her teeth looked great! They gave her a token to buy a toy.

We went to Target and then to McDonald's to get her and ice cream for being a good girl.

They also gave her a t-shirt for being a first time patient and she LOVED it!!

Zoo Light Safari

I am finally back and hoping not to take off like that again. I am ready to get back in the swing of blogging daily!! I am a bit under the weather and have a Z-Pak on its way! Thanks to my fabulous (doctor) Kathy!! It all started Saturday with not feeling well and running a temp for a couple of nights. SINUS stuff is the PITTS!

Anyways on to Zoo Light Safari

It was sooooo crowded Saturday night. We did not pick a good night at all but we stayed. Jamie and I used to go every year when we first met. It did not seem at great as it used to but we still enjoyed it. The only thing we did not do was ride the train. We would have had to wait at least 2 hrs to ride it. I was out with it being cold and me not feeling well. I did not take many pics at all........oh well, we still have a couple of Christmas activities left to do.

Sophie Clare's hat would not stay down like it was suppose to. I think her coat kept it from going down all the way on her sweet head. She also looks a little scared in this pic. She always seems to get a little over-whelmed at things like this.

I posted this pic because it is of me and my baby. Although I can tell I do not feel well at all.

We went through the barn to see all the animals. Some were up running around, some were sleeping and this guys were snuggled trying to stay warm.

After the zoo, we stopped by Logans to have some dinner. We had a good time and look forward to our next fun trip!

Good afternoon.

We are having a fabulous week and looking forward to the weekend. We have some "Christmas" activities in store for Sophie Clare. We have been at home most of the week. It has been raining and who wants to get out in that?? NOT ME! I am on the search for some skinny jeans. I kinda grew out of mine that I had last year. oops. Anyways, Sophie Clare and I hit the mall of course to see Santa and make sure he was going ok. :-) No luck in the jeans..........Maybe this weekend.

Now onto this past Sunday, We were going to hear Emily sing in her Christmas program at church. Before we left, Jamie snapped a few pics of me and my sweet girl. I never like myslef in pics but I thought these were pretty cute of her.

After the Party

When the party was all cleaned up that is when the kiddos seem to have the most fun! They played outside till it was dark then came inside to play in the fellowship hall. Sophie Clare ran and played so hard.

We pulled the kids on this little rolly things. I know they have a name but I don't know what it is. ha They had a ball and wanted to go faster. It gave us all a work out!

Sophie Clare's Birthday Party

We celebrated on her actual birthday Tuesday, but enjoyed a party with family on Saturday. She had been looking forward to this party for a while. I could not wait to see how she reacted.

She was beyond excited about her cake and was ready to eat it the minute she saw it. We ate all the "real" food first. Like meatballs, chicken salad, corn dogs, sausage balls, pea salad, chip and dip. Sophie Clare could not wait and had her fork ready to go.

We sang Happy Birthday and she smiled so big. She tried to blow our her candles, tried to set her mouth just right but took her a time or two. haha

My bestest firend Jennifer took my pics for me and that helped out soooo much.

She was very excited about her girfts and could not wait to open them.

She was all about open ing each and every one!

She loves boots and loved the ones her Uncle Chris, Aunt Angie (annie) Emily and Gracie got her. She could not wait to get them on.

She got the cutest shirt, make up (which she loves) and a purse.

This cracks me up because both of our faces are so excited. haha

Her great grandmother made her a quilt.

She told everyone thank you for the gifts. :-)

Thank you for all those that help her party happen. Thank you all for coming and the wonderful gifts. Thank you all for helping clean up! You all are the best and I could not have done it without you!!

Loving Santa

I have a little girl that is loving Santa this year. I was not sure what she would think of him because last year she would barely get close. This year is totally different. Ever since we went to the Santa parade at the mall. she has been a bit obsessed. haha

They know her by name because I usually give in on going to see him once or twice a week.

She has got where she runs up the rap to see him and gets right in his lap. She does not say anything until we are gone but is in awe the time that she is with him. It doesn't bother me that she is so into Santa, we talk about the real meaning all the time.

Since Jamie was with us, we decided to go ahead and get her pic made with him.

Sophie Clare's Birth-DAY

Yesterday was a fabulous day even though our plans were messed up by the weather. We had plans to take Sophie Clare to the zoo and all of the sudden WINTER arrived. So we ended up eating lunch at McDonald's and going to the mall. She loves the mall so that was right up her ally!

When she woke up, I started saying Happy Birthday. I am not really sure she really knew it was her birthday but when it came gift time, she was ready.

While I was getting ready, she wanted to play in some old make up.

Sure why not..............

She was so please and was very excited!

How could we not just laugh and take a pic.

As soon as we got to the mall, she wanted to ride the horses, next stop was Santa, then to Learning Express, A yummy cookie and Books a Million which she LOVES. .

We had a great day spending time with our sweet little girl. The celebrating is not over yet.........We will be celebrating with family and friends this weekend.

Happy Happy Birthday to our sweet Sophie Clare.

We had a wonderful day and I will share all about that tomorrow. We made her a BIG cupcake Sunday night after church and planned to ice it today............Well it fell apart. So Jamie had to run to Wal-Mart and get a cake (any kind of cake). Not much to choose from so he got her a red velvet. I have taken her pic for the past 3 years with her cake in her birthday outfit. She did not mind at all putting on her birthday outfit around 7 at night. haha

She has grown so much in the past year and talks non-stop. She is fun, kind, sweet, adorable, beautiful and is full of life. I do not even remember what life was without her.

So what is she up to??

She weighs 27 lbs and is 36 inches tall.

She is potty trained and has been for a while now.

She wears a 3t mainly but some are a little big.

Her legs are most def a 3t but her arms are more a 2.

She loves wearing her t-shirts when we are at home.

She loves to play with her babies, do puzzles, read books, play ball and anything to do with arts and crafts. She sings all the time. Her favorites to sing............Jesus Loves Me, O How I Love Jesus, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Baby Bubble Be, God Is so Good, ABC'S and so many more.

She is full of life.

Sophie Clare is not my picky eater at all. She loves chicken, fish, pizza, rice, Mexican............there is rarely anything that she does not like.

What is her favorite??

That is hard to say unless MILK MILK counts. haha

I can not believe my sweet angel will be 3 tomorrow. I am very thankful that I have had the opportunity to stay at home with her and hold her through thousands of naps. She is such a sweet sweet girl!

Good afternoon blog land.

It is a rainy chilly day!

We had a special service this morning at church. A harpist came to play and give her testimony. We really enjoyed it. After church we ate at Momma Goldbergs which was oh so yummy. Then when we got home, I thought it would be the perfect day to get a few pics of Sophie Clare in her nativity dress for my blog header. Now all of you know she has had a camera in her face since she was born but she was being so silly today. I just thought I would share with you all her cute faces she just had to make.

Decorating Instead of shopping

ROLL TIDE!!

We decided to do a little decorating yesterday while most of you were out shopping. Every year I have been, I end up buying more for myself which I did not really need to do. haha I have have started my Christmas shopping online and have already recieved a few of those. I still like a good bit but at least I have a start. I told Sophie Clare that we were going to put up the Christmas tree and she was very excited.

We put her tree up in her room and she loved it.

Concentrating very hard to decide where to put the oranments.

I leave my lights on our tree every year so it is always a little scare if they are all going to work or not. There was only one small section that I had to replace thank goodness! Sophie Clare had tons of fun looking at all the ornaments.

We got a lot done but still have more to do. In the middle of all of that, we played with my nieces and put up all the Fall decor. Finally it was time to settle in and just enjoy the tree.

Christmas is going to be a lot of fun this year!!

Yes, I am 2 days late on Thanksgiving! Better late than never I say! ha I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had a fabulous day full of family! I have so much to be thankful for. We went to my Uncle Alton and Aunt Rita's house and let me just say the FOOD was FABULOUS!!

Sweet Owen was asleep when we first got there. He loves men and when Ashley, his mom brought him in the kitchen..........He went right to Jamie and snuggled up.

It was a beautiful day so the kiddos were able to play outside most of the day!

A Day With The Girls

I know that it is not Thanksgiving yet but

IT IS BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS!

We met Angie and the girls at the mall this morning for them to see Santa and all the decor. Angie text me early this morning and said the girls were wearing red and green so I put SC in red and green.. When we saw each other, we did not know that Gracie and Sophie Clare were going to match. All 3 girls look like dolls!

Angie was going to have the girls pic made with Santa and we thought we would try getting one of all 3. Well that is harder than you would think. Sophie Clare would not smile. She looked scared even though she loves Santa. If you got 2 of them looking the other had there eyes closed. Angie ended up getting a really cute of the girls but I will have to try again another day.

We enjoyed our time at the mall but I know why I keep Sophie Clare in a stroller. haha

A New Bed and Sweet Hands

It is almost Thanksgiving and Walmart is buzzing. We stopped by for just a couple of things and WOW......It was busy.

Yesterday we just stayed in so that I could catch up on the "house wife" duties. Although, I can work in the house sun up to sun down and it is never finished. Sophie Clare stayed right by my side all day. I was in the kitchen doing some things and I would hear the pitter patter of her feet run by ever so often. I was tuned in to what I was doing so I did not look up till she said........night night, close me up. She had made her a nice bed in the dryer. haha

She had pillows, blankets and was very pleased with her new bed!

Today we had a few errands to run. The main one was getting Sophie Clare's invites mailed out. This is always a very over whelming time of year but I would not change a thing. I am very blessed. The afternoon was long so I came up with a couple of crafts to do. We first made a turkey I cut out of scrapbook paper and then a hand print turkey.

She loved me painting her hand and wanted to do more.

We had tons of fun doing it and I can't wait to do all the Christmas ideas on PINTEREST!!

Our Weekend

Good Morning!

How was your weekend??

Ours was low key but fabulous. Saturday, we got to spend the day with 2 of my favorite girls in the world. Emily and Gracie!

We had the best time. We played, rode the 4 wheeeler, climbed trees, turned cart wheeles and much more.

Yesterday after church, Sophie Clare wanted to "ride around". We changed clothes and got in the truck. We have lots of land behind the house and they have been cleaing it off for a while. We usually ride the 4 wheeler back there but we took the truck this time. When we topped the mountain, we got out and walked around for a while. Sophie Clare really enjoyed herself.

We got back to the house and Sophie Clare wanted to do a little more walking. We loaded up and went to the railroad tracks down the road. She had the best time!

Well there you have it...........Our low key weekend.

Catching Up On Story Time

Burr it is cold and windy outside!!

I am glad, I was so ready to cut my logs back on and get cozy!

Life in the slow lane is now over.

The birthday party is almost 2 weeks away not to add Thanksgiving in the mix.

Then there is Christmas and I LOVE LOVE IT!

Sophie Clare is already loving seeing all the Christmas stuff. We have our Nativity scene out and talking about it. . I can not wait to put our Christmas trees up to see what she thinks.

Angel's Antiques

Angel's Antiques was another great find in Opelika, Alabama. It had a little bit of everything. Each person rents a booth, so you had a taste of it all. I did not buy much but grapevine balls, a grapevine pumpkin and 2 topiary which you will see around Christmas. This was one booth that I just loved.

I love shabby chic and anything vintage!

Santa Is Coming To The Mall

Good afternoon!

I hope you had a wonderful church service this morning!

We did!

A few days ago, I heard on the radio that Santa was coming to the mall. They were going all out with a parade and everything. I thought it would be so fun to take Sophie Clare. So, yesterday morning we all got up early and got to the mall around 9:30. The fire truck was there, along with a band, clowns, dancers, twirlers and much more.

I love the movie Alice in Wonderland so Mad Hatter was my fave!

! He made his costume and everything!! :-)

As they continued making there way around the mall, we headed inside to await his arrival.

Sophie Clare kept asking "where did Santa go?"

The mall was decorated so pretty and really got me into the spirit of Christmas!

There is again, tons of kiddos in line to get in his lap.

Before we left the mall, Sophie Clare had asked many times to sit in his lap. We waited out turn and she did not say anything but she did sit in his lap. She was thrilled to get a candy cane from Santa.

Big Sam the Balloon man was there making the cutest things. I had never seen Big Sam so happy.

He was more JOLLY than Santa. haha

My mom had a craft show and we stopped by there for a quick visit.

Sophie Clare could not wait to go see the water so of course that is what we did.

Fun FALL Days

Hello all!

It is Friday night and I have been in the house all week long except for Thursday!

The walls were closing in on me! haha

I ended up meeting my sweet friend Jodi for just a bit and having some much needed adult time tonight. I was only gone a couple of hours but it made me feel like a brand new mama! haha Thanks so much Jodi!! Your the bestest!! We went to story time this week and really had a good time. I have been trying to blog about it but my pictures are coming up weird! They look like they are over or under exposed!

Anyways, one of our afternoons outside, it was pretty chilly out. I had bought Sophie Clare a new hat and some gloves. I could not wait to try them out and neither could she. We went for a walk and took some fun pics on the way.

As we walked along, we talked about all the colors of the leaves.

She is such a doll baby and I am so blessed with the time I get to spend with her!

Resurrect Antiques

If you are ever in the Opelika, Alabama area, you have to stop by this wonderful little shop!! I fell in love the minuite that I walked in the door. They had sooo much to look at from home decor to clothes! There prices were pretty fabulous as well. I did notice that they are having there Christmas open house in a couple of weekends. Sophie Clare and I may be taking a road trip!! :-)
